1) condensation - the power plant making only electrical energy;

2) combined heat and power plant - the power plant which makes not only the electric power but also is source of heat energy in centralized systems of heat supply;

3) gas turbine - the power plant as power source using gaseous fuel;

4) hydroelectric power station - the power plant as power source using energy of water flow.

"Installed capacity" the power making organizations are divided by criterion on: to 100 MW, from 100 MW to 300 MW, from 300 MW and more.

"Type of the used fuel" the power making organizations are divided by criterion: burning coal, gas of local origin, gas of import origin, fuel oil.
