About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning the status and operating conditions of Settlement center on servicing of agreements in the financial markets

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About banks and banking activity" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, No. 5-6, of Art. 30; 2011, No. 36, Art. 362; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 6, 2012 No. 5178-VI):

Part the fifth Article 4 to add 1) with the offer of such content: "The National Bank of Ukraine determines features of regulation and supervision of bank which has the status of Settlement center on servicing of agreements in the financial markets, taking into account specifics of its activities";

To replace 2) in part four of Article 47 of the word "and have Settlement center on servicing of agreements in the financial markets" with the word "has".

2. In article 15 of the Law of Ukraine of July 6, 2012 No. 5178-VI "About depositary system of Ukraine":

the second to state part in such edition:

"2. Settlement center - the bank which functions in the form of public joint stock company according to the Law of Ukraine "About banks and banking activity" taking into account the features established by the present of Zakonom. Bank acquires the status of Settlement center from the date of registration of Rules of Settlement center in the National Bank of Ukraine in accordance with the established procedure";

to exclude paragraph two of part three;

parts the fourth, eighth and ninth to exclude.
