About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About energy saving"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About energy saving" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 12, the Art. 497) the following changes:

"Article 6. Powers of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in implementation of state policy on energy saving

Powers of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of energy saving include:

- determination of structure of the state system of energy saving and authorized state bodies on development of policy, and also on supervision and control in the field of energy saving;

- control of implementation of the National energy program according to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About power" and other adopted regulatory legal acts;

- acceptance, within competence, regulatory legal acts in the field of energy saving;

- approval of regional and industry programs of energy saving.

Article 6-1. Powers of authorized state bodies

Powers of authorized state body on development of policy in the field of energy saving include:

- creation of necessary conditions for investment attraction for the purpose of increase in efficiency of use of fuel and energy;

- coordination of scientific research and developmental works on energy saving;

- assistance in projects implementation on implementation of the energy efficient equipment and products, advanced technology, methods of management and scientific research in this area, utilization of secondary energy resources and waste, and also technologies with energy use of the sun, wind, water and other power sources;

- assistance to development of industrial base and production of metering devices, control and management of energy, energy efficient and ecologically safe power stations, construction materials and products;

- project development of regulatory legal acts in the field of energy saving;
