About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning strengthening of guarantees of independence of judges

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About the Supreme council of justice" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 25, Art. 146; 2010, No. 26, Art. 272, No. No. 41-45, of Art. 529; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of November 3, 2011 No. 4001-VI):

Article 25 after part four to add 1) with new part of such content:

"According to the appeal of bodies of prosecutor's office verification of data on violation by the judge of the oath, about the fact of minor offense of the judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine or the judge of the supreme specialized court which were allowed in case of trial of legal case in which the prosecutor was involved is performed only if such legal case is not in production of court of any instance or if the submission due date established by the procedural law appeal or the writ of appeal ended. Verification of such data cannot be charged to the member of the High Council of Justice who is prosecutor or was the prosecutor at the time of appointment as the member of the High Council of Justice".
