About introduction of amendments to the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218-XVI of October 24, 2008
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218-XVI of October 24, 2008 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, No. 3-6, of the Art. 15), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
1. In the sanction of Article 331 of the word "or assignment of punishment in the form of unpaid work for benefit of society for a period of 40 till 60 o'clock" to exclude.
2. State Articles 333 and 423 in the following edition:
"Article 333. Abuse of regulations of stay in the Republic of Moldova
(1) the Violation by foreigners of rules of stay in the Republic of Moldova which is expressed in not escape of the territory of the country after the provided stay term attracts imposing of penalty in the amount of 50 to 100 conventional units.
(2) the Violation by foreigners of rules of stay in the Republic of Moldova which is expressed in accommodation without identity documents with false documents or with documents which effective period expired; non-compliance with rules of entry into the Republic of Moldova and departure from the Republic of Moldova; evasion from medical examination on availability of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); provision of obviously false data for the purpose of receipt of a visa, the residence permit or the identity certificate, attracts imposing of penalty in the amount of 50 to 100 conventional units with expulsion or without expulsion from the Republic of Moldova.";
"Article 423. Boundary police
(1) the Offences provided by Articles 331, 332 and part (1) Articles 333, are considered by Boundary police.
(2) to Consider cases on the offenses provided by part (1), and to impose penalties the having the right chiefs of sites of boundary police and their deputies, chiefs of check points through frontier and their deputies, chiefs of departments of border control and their deputies.
(3) the Offences provided by part (2) Articles 333, are established by Boundary police.
