Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of April 22, 1992 "About labor unions" in edition of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 14, 2000 (Vyarkho¸naga Savet's Vedamastsi of Respubliki Belarus, 1992, No. 19, Art. 300; National register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2000, No. 23, 2/146; No. 69, 2/191; 2007, No. 119, 2/1322) following changes and amendments:
1. State Article 1 in the following edition:
"Article 1. Labor unions
The labor union (further - labor union) is the voluntary public organization combining citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and persons without citizenship (further if other is not established, - citizens), including students in the organizations of professional, secondary vocational, higher education connected by common interests by the nature of activities as in production, and non-productive spheres, for protection of the labor, social and economic rights and interests.".
2. In Article 2:
in part one:
after the word "Citizens" to add part with the words "Republic of Belarus";
to exclude the word of "(provisions)";
after part one to add Article with part of the following content:
"Foreign citizens and stateless persons can join the trade unions created and operating in the territory of the Republic of Belarus if it is provided by their charters.";
the second or fourth to consider parts respectively parts third or heel;
third after the words "republican" and "associations" to add part respectively with the words "unions (associations)" and "(further - trade union associations)";
in word part four "statutory documents" to replace with the word "charters";
and "(provisions)" to exclude from part five of the word of "(division)".
