1. This Federal Law is adopted for the purpose of protection of life or health of citizens, property of physical persons or legal entities, the state-owned or municipal property, environmental protection, life or health of animals and plants, the prevention of the actions misleading acquirers of the low-voltage equipment, ensuring energy efficiency proceeding from need of lack of unacceptable risk of damnification in case of issuance of the low-voltage equipment in the territory of the Russian Federation.
2. This Federal Law establishes obligatory for application and observance of the requirement to the low-voltage equipment released in the territory of the Russian Federation (safety daleetrebovaniye), to marking of the low-voltage equipment, to the accompanying documents including rules of safe operation and (or) utilization of the low-voltage equipment and also establishes the provisions relating to assessment of conformity of the low-voltage equipment and the provisions relating to the prevention of o of the actions misleading acquirers of the low-voltage equipment.
3. This Federal Law does not establish safety requirements to design processes, productions, installation, adjustment, operation, storage, transportation, realization and utilization of the low-voltage equipment in the territory of the Russian Federation.
