About some measures for improvement of the situation with traffic safety

Based on Item and) Article 5 of the Security act of traffic N 131-XVI of June 7, 2007, and also for the purpose of improvement of the situation with traffic safety the Government DECIDES:

1. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

to submit to the Government for approval the bill on modification within 3-month term and amendments in the Security act of traffic N 131-XVI of June 7, 2007. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, N 103-106, Art. 443), in respect of refining and assignment of new powers to competent central public authorities in the field of traffic and its safety;

to submit to the Government for approval the bill on entering of amendments into the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova within 3-month term N 985-XV of April 18, 2002. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, N 128-129, Art. 1012) for the purpose of establishment of criminal liability for control of vehicles in the alcohol intoxication exceeding the maximum level of alkolemiya, or in state of intoxication, caused by other substances;
