About concessions
This Law establishes the basic principles of implementation of concessionary economic activity in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and determines the legal, economic and other property relations connected with these activities.
Concession (permission, concession) - the agreement about transfers to temporary operation under certain conditions the companies (associations), the earth belonging to the state with the right of mining, construction of facilities, and also waters, water and airspace, plant and animal life, others, not prohibited legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, natural resources to the foreign investor.

Subjects to concession - the types of economic activity connected with provision to the foreign investor in temporary use of property, land areas, subsoil, and also other natural resources which are not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Subjects of concession - the parties participating in concessionary relations.
Concessionary bodies - the bodies authorized by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan or public authorities on places which are granted the right in accordance with the established procedure to deal with concession issues.
