About measures for further enhancement of executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

1. In executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

(a) to enter position of the First Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

(b) to create the Secretariat concerning education, sciences and health cares with the number of staff of 12 units.

2. Determine that the number of staff of the Secretariat concerning education, sciences and health cares of the Cabinet of Ministers is created:

(a) 5 established posts - at the expense of Department of questions of social development of the Cabinet of Ministers;

(b) 7 established posts - due to optimization of established posts of the reorganized Ministry of preschool and school education and the Ministry of the higher education, science and innovations.

3. Assign to the First Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Education and Science republican both local executive bodies and other organizations according to appendix No. 1*.

4. Determine that the First Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Education and Science within powers performs the common directorship and coordination of activities of heads of republican executive bodies - the ministries, committees, the agencies and inspectorates, and also the Chairman of the board of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent on accomplishment of the tasks and functions assigned to them in education, sciences and health cares.

5. To the Cabinet of Ministers in two weeks to make the Government decision providing approval of functional tasks of the First Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Education and Science, and also regulations on its secretariat.

6. Make changes and additions to the executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 11, 2023 No. UP-133, according to appendix No. 2*.
