About modification of some regulations (coordination and data exchange in the field of social security with member states of the European Union)

This law creates the necessary legal basis for enforcement of Regulations (EC) of the European parliament and Council No. 883/2004 of the April 29, 2004 about coordination of social security systems (action of the document extends to EEP and Switzerland) published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 166 of April 30, 2004, CELEX: 32004R0883, taking into account the last changes made by Regulations (EC) of the European parliament and Council 2019/1149 of June 20, 2019 and also the Regulations (EC) of the European parliament and Council No. 987/2009 of September 16, 2009 about establishment of the procedure of enforcement of Regulations (EC) No. 883/2004 about coordination of social security systems (action of the document extends to EEP and Switzerland) published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 284 of October 30, 2009, CELEX: 32009R0987, taking into account the last changes made by Regulations (EC) of the Commission 2017/492 of March 21, 2017.
Art. I. - In the Law on the state system of social insurance No. 489/1999 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 1-4, 2), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
1. Add Chapter I with Article 9-1 of the following content:
"Article 9-1. Coordination of social security systems with member states of the European Union
(1) the National cash desk performs functions of binding body for the purpose of coordination of social security systems concerning the areas provided by part (1) Article 3 of Regulations (EC) of the European parliament and Council No. 883/2004 of April 29, 2004 about coordination of social security systems, except for the services provided within system of medical insurance.
