About protection of the population against harmful effects of noise

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of protection of the population against harmful effects of noise.
Operation of this Law does not extend on:
natural noise;
the noise resulting from accomplishment according to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the urgent works connected with the prevention of offenses, activities of security service, rendering emergency and emergency medical service, the prevention and mitigation of consequences of emergency situations of natural and technogenic nature, and also ensuring public safety;
the noise resulting from carrying out national holidays, mass sporting and mass cultural events, and also making of religious practices and ceremonies.
The legislation on protection of the population against harmful effects of noise consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about protection of the population against harmful effects of noise are applied rules of the international treaty.
Admissible noise level is the noise level established by health regulations and regulations which does not cause in the person of considerable concern and essential changes in functional systems and organism analyzers, sensitive to noise.
Harmful effects of noise is origin at the person of considerable concern, and also emergence of serious changes in functional systems and organism analyzers, sensitive to noise, as a result of exceeding of admissible noise level.
