About introduction of amendments to the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (establishment of the offenses in the field of traffic made by the vehicles registered in other states)

This law shifts parts (2) - (6) Articles 5, article 5a, article 5b, article 5d, part (3) articles 5e, parts (6), (8), (9) and (10) articles 5f and part (3) Article 8 of the Directive of the European parliament and Council (EU) 2015/413 of March 11, 2015 about assistance to cross-border exchange of information and mutual assistance on cases on the offenses connected with traffic safety published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 68/9 of March 13, 2015, CELEX: 32015L0413, taking into account the last changes made by the Directive of the European parliament and Council (EU) 2024/3237 of December 19, 2024.
Art. I. - In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 78-84, 100), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In the book of the first to add Chapter V-2 with Articles 46-4-46-12 of the following content:
"Article 46-4. Notice on road traffic offense
(1) the notice on road traffic offense is understood as any document published by competent authority, such as the information letter or appeal sent to the owner, the owner or the end user of the vehicle, about submission of the declaration containing identification these persons, managing the vehicle at the time of making of road and transport offense.
(2) the Notice on road traffic offense is sent by competent authority to the address of the corresponding person, by mail the registered mail or with use of other similar physical or electronic means providing transfer of such notice and confirmation of its obtaining.
