About entering of amendments into the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add part 1 of Article 125 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of June 30, 2021 (further - the Code) with the new offer of the following content: "If concerning pledged property the prevailing public interest is acknowledged, the subject of pledge is replaced with the equivalent compensation amount provided according to the procedure, established by the Law "About Property Acquisition for the purpose of Providing the Prevailing Public Concerns" which is listed by person specified in part 3 of this Article on the deposit of court or prosecutor's office respectively".
Article 2. To add part 2 of article 135 of the Code with the new offer of the following content: "If concerning the withdrawn property paramount public concerns are acknowledged, the property is exempted from arrest by the judgment, and the body conducting trial withdraws the amount of the brought compensation or takes measures for withdrawal of other equivalent property.".
Article 3. This law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
