About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning protection of soils, land relations and agro-industrial complex

Article 1. Make changes and additions to the following legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1. In the Land code of the Republic of Kazakhstan of June 20, 2003:

Article 6 to add 1) with Item 1-1 of the following content:

"1-1. Modification and (or) amendments in this Code is performed by the law which is not providing modification and (or) amendments in other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except for drafts of the laws drafted according to the procedure of the legislative initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.";

Article 9 to add 2) with Item 5-1 of the following content:

"5-1. By provision of agricultural holdings for the purposes which are not connected with farming losses of agricultural production according to Articles 105 and 106 of this Code are compensated.";

3) in paragraph one of Item 3 of Article 11 of the word "geobotanical, soil and meliorative" shall be replaced with words "meliorative, agrochemical, geobotanical inspections";

4) in Article 12:

add with subitem 10-1) of the following content:

"10-1) desertification of lands - degradation of lands in droughty, semi-arid and dry zones on climatic conditions from impacts of natural and (or) anthropogenous nature;";
