About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with strengthening of guarantees of labor rights of citizens

Within the reforms undertaken in recent years in our country special attention is paid to regulation of employment relationships on the basis of modern requirements, to creation of worthy working conditions for each citizen, and also to complete providing and effective protection of labor rights.
Along with it there is need of reduction of the national legal system in compliance with international standards, in particular further enhancement of legal mechanisms of permission (regulation) of collective employment disputes, expression and protection of the social and economic interests by workers, and also elimination of uncertainty in the regulations regulating work of separate categories of persons.
This Law to some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the changes and additions directed to establishment of the right of workers to strike, and also legal regulation of procedure and the mechanism of its implementation.
At the same time, regulations of the Labor code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning establishment of part-time for the expectant mothers and persons occupied with accomplishment of family obligations are specified.
This Law serves further strengthening of guarantees of labor rights of workers and the effective organization of permission (regulation) of collective employment disputes.
