Article 1

Bring in article 35.1 of the Federal Law of December 28, 2010 No. 403-FZ "About the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2011, No. 1, Art. 15; 2018, No. 1, Art. 76; 2019, No. 52, Art. 7834; 2023, No. 1, Art. 39; 2025, No. 51, Art. 8005) following changes:

Lump social sum payment is provided no later than one year from the date of death (death) of the employee of the Investigative Committee whose service was suspended according to Item 2 of article 12.1 of the Federal Law of May 27, 2003 No. 58-FZ "About system of public service of the Russian Federation" which was accepted during service in the Investigative Committee on accounting as the person in need in premises for the purpose of provision of lump social sum payment or premises in property, or the person specified in Item of 1 part of 21 these Articles, accepted on accounting as the person in need in premises for the purpose of the provision of lump social sum payment or premises in property which are called up for military service on mobilization, directed to service in troops of national guard of the Russian Federation on mobilization or concluded in the mobilization period in the period of warlike situation or in wartime the contract on passing of military service or the contract on voluntary assistance in accomplishment of the tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or troops of national guard of the Russian Federation in equal shares to the family members living together with specified by the employee of the Investigative Committee or person specified in Item of 1 part of 21 these Articles who died (died) owing to mutilation or other damage of health received in connection with fulfillment of duties of military service (service) or obligations under the contract on stay in voluntary forming or owing to the disease got during passing of military service under the contract, conscription on mobilization or stay in voluntary forming in connection with participation in special military operation or in connection with accomplishment of tasks on reflection of the armed invasion on the territory of the Russian Federation and also during the armed provocation on Frontier of the Russian Federation and the territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation adjacent to areas of holding special military operation, in the presence at the time of death (death) of the specified employee of the Investigative Committee or person specified in Item of 1 part of 21 these Articles, the conditions provided by part 4 of this Article.";

Part 28 to state 3) in the following edition:

"28. For the persons specified in Item of 1 part of 21 these Articles, living on the date of dismissal in office premises the right to accommodation in office premises before receipt of lump social sum payment by them remains if the general duration of their service on positions of public prosecutor's employees of the Investigative Committee under prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation and (or) on positions of staff of the Investigative Committee constitutes at least 20 years in calendar calculation and they are not employers of premises under the agreement of social hiring or members of the family of the employer of premises under the agreement of social hiring by either owners of premises or members of the family of the owner of premises. For the persons specified in Items 2 and 3 of part 21 and part 21.1 of this Article, living in office premises the right to accommodation in office premises before receipt of lump social sum payment by them remains.";

To add 4) with part 28.1 following of content:

"28.1. For the employees serving in the certain regions of the Russian Federation, settlements and areas of the Russian Federation determined by the Government of the Russian Federation by representation of the Investigative Committee, and the members of their families determined according to part 7 of this Article remain:

1) the right to stay on the registry as persons in need in premises still to the duty station and the right to providing with office premises still to the duty station;

2) right to use by the occupied office premises still to the duty station of the employee of the Investigative Committee;

3) the right of members of families to receipt of monetary compensation for employment (sublease) of premises still to the duty station of the employee of the Investigative Committee according to part 27 of this Article.".

Article 2

1. This Federal Law becomes effective after hundred eighty days after day of its official publication.

2. Action of provisions of parts 20 and 21.1 of article 35.1 of the Federal Law of December 28, 2010 No. 403-FZ "About the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation" (in edition of this Federal Law) extends to the legal relationship which arose since February 24, 2022.
