About psychological activities
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
1) professional secrecy - the information obtained by the psychologist in the course of psychological activities, which is not subject to disclosure without written consent of the receiver of psychological assistance;
2) the psychologist - person having the higher and (or) postgraduate education, and (or) academic degree in the field of psychology having the corresponding qualification and performing psychological activities;
3) the receiver of psychological assistance - physical person, family or group of persons which are given psychological assistance;
4) quality of psychological assistance - set of the characteristics reflecting timeliness of rendering psychological assistance, correctness of the choice of methods of rendering psychological assistance, extent of achievement of the planned result;
5) psychological activities - set of the legal relationship arising when implementing by the psychologist of the professional activity including psychological assistance in the form of prevention, diagnostics, corrections, consultations, maintenances and supports of psychological wellbeing;
6) psychological wellbeing - condition of physical person in case of which are provided stability of psychoemotional condition, capability to overcome difficult life situations;
7) the Code of ethics of psychologists - the single code of ethical rules of conduct of psychologists when implementing psychological activities;
8) the psychologist's superviziya - the form of professional support of the psychologist aimed at quality assurance of psychological activities, development of competences.
1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on psychological activities is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the international contractual commitments of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
