About measures for further improvement of the natural hydrological mode and biological diversity of the river Ugam
For the purpose of recovery of natural hydrological and ecological balance of the river Ugam, decrease in environmental risk of the hydroenergy activities which are carried out on the river, further improvement of biodiversity in the territory, and also I decide preserving stability of river ecosystem, rational use of water resources and providing environment of dwelling of types of plant and animal life:
1. Determine main objectives of adoption of this resolution:
(a) assignment to the river Ugam (further - the river) the status of the state hydrological nature sanctuary and restriction in accordance with the established procedure the economic activity making on it negative impact;
(b) inventory count of the business entities located in the water protection zone of the river and reduction of their activities in compliance with ecological requirements;
(c) taking measures to recovery of natural state of ecosystem in the water protection zone and in the coastal territory of the river, including to increase in objects of plant and animal life.
2. Agree with the offer of National committee on ecology and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - Committee on ecology) and khokimiyat of the Tashkent region according to the announcement of the river Ugam the state hydrological nature sanctuary.
3. In a month to provide to khokimiyat of the Tashkent region together with Committee on ecology the announcement of part of the river Ugam with the extent of 13,3 of km proceeding through the territory of the Tashkent region in borders according to appendix No. 1 * to this resolution, the state hydrological nature sanctuary in accordance with the established procedure.
