About additional measures for support of providing the population with main types of food products
For the purpose of ensuring food security in the country in the conditions of the current failures in logistics and supply chains, prevention of acute fluctuations of the prices of the main socially important food, maintenance of price stability on beef and mutton in the domestic consumer market, and also I decide implementations of the temporary, transparent and applied on an equal footing measures for expansion of opportunities of production of meat products in complete chain:
1. Approve the offer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Economics and finance on allocation from the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan of temporary subsidies in the following directions on ensuring price stability on meat products:
(a) for term is on April 1, 2026 till August 1, 2026 to subjects of entrepreneurship when importing beef and mutton in the amount of 50 percent of expenses on their transportation by air transport, but no more 0, of the 8th US dollar for each kilogram of meat;
(b) for the term of 1 April of 2026 till December 31, 2026 in the amount of 10 percent of cost for each livestock of the breeding cattle imported from the foreign states by air transport, but not exceeding 4 million sum for each livestock.
2. Determine that subsidies according to this resolution are financed by payments Agency in the agrarian sphere.
3. To the Ministry of Economics and finance based on calculations of the Ministry of Agriculture and payments Agency in the agrarian sphere for financing of the expenses connected with subsidies according to this resolution to allocate in the current year step by step additional resources in the amount of 300 billion sum at the expense of the means of the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan determined to optimization from expenses for 2026.
