About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About personal data"

In recent years in our country the large-scale measures aimed at the development of modern digital economy and further enhancement of the sphere of personal data protection are implemented.
At the same time there is need for further enhancement of special storage conditions and processing of personal data, and also the regulations concerning order of registration of bases of personal data.
This Law to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About personal data" makes the changes and amendment specifying the list of the personal data which are subject to obligatory storage in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, establishing the registration requirement of the this bases in the State register of bases of personal data and also the determining storage conditions and processings of personal data outside the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This Law will serve ensuring effective personal data protection.
Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 2, 2019 No. ZRU-547 "About personal data" (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2019, No. 7, Art. 385; 2021, No. 1, Art. 13, appendix to No. 4; 2023, No. 11, Art. 923) following changes and amendment:
1) in Article 3 part two:
state paragraph two in the following edition:
to "processing of personal data by physical person in the personal and household purposes";
the fourth after the words "to the data constituting the state secrets" to add the paragraph with the words "and also to the data concerning questions of defense and homeland security";
