About modification and amendments in the Law "About Medical Care and Servicing of the Population"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 17, 2025
Article 1. Recognize invalid Items 9 and 10 of part 1 of article 2 of the Law of March 4, 1996, No. ZR-42 "About medical care and servicing of the population" (further - the Law) (further - the Law).
Article 2. To state Item 33 of part 1 of article 2 of the Law in the following edition:
"33) the standard - the document describing and regulating the organization and implementation of medical care and servicing within programs of protection and improvement of health of the population, general medical insurance, and also on other conditions, approved by authorized body;".
Article 3. To add part 2 of article 7 of the Law with Item 3 following of content:
"3) the database managed by fund of general medical insurance for the purposes determined by the law on general medical insurance.".
Article 4. In part 5 of article 11 of the Law:
Item 2 to state 1) in the following edition:
"2) to authorized body, and also the state organizations operating in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiologic safety of the population and public health in cases of infectious diseases, and also the diseases caused by chemical, radiation, biological factors and in cases of individual noninfectious diseases or mass poisonings or those threats as it is determined by authorized body;";
To add 2) with Item 2.1 of the following content:
"2. 1) Fund of general medical insurance when conducting checks, and also the monitoring and observations of process and service quality of insurance package provided by the agreements signed between Fund of general medical insurance and the medical organizations, and also drugstores for benefit of insured person as it is provided by the Law "About General Medical Insurance;";
3) to state Item 5 in the following edition:
