About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning risk management of flooding and ensuring participation of Ukraine in the Mechanism of civil protection of the Union
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:
1. In the Water code of Ukraine (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1995, No. 24, the Art. 189):
1) in Article 8-1:
in Item 1 of the word "waters and reproduction of water resources" shall be replaced with words "waters, reproduction of water resources and risk management of flooding";
add with Item 3-1 of the following content:
"3-1) provision at the request of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of the civil protection, information necessary for determination of the territories with potentially significant risks of flooding";
in Item 15 of the word "change and implementation of the water preserving actions" shall be replaced with words "change, implementation of the water preserving actions and the available risks of floodings";
2) in Article 9:
to add Item 1 after words of "the water preserving actions" with words of "measures for flooding risk management";
add with Item 3-1 of the following content:
"3-1) provision at the request of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of the civil protection, information necessary for determination of the territories with potentially significant risks of flooding";
to add Item 9 after the words "human health" with the words "available risks of floodings";
3) in Article 10:
in Item 1 of the word "waters and reproduction of water resources" shall be replaced with words "waters, reproduction of water resources and risk management of flooding";
add with Item 5-1 of the following content:
"5-1) provision at the request of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of the civil protection, information necessary for determination of the territories with potentially significant risks of flooding";
