About accession of Ukraine to the Convention on the international access to justice
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
Join the Convention on the international access to justice made on October 25, 1980 in the Hague it (is applied) which becomes effective for Ukraine in the first day of the third calendar month from the date of transfer on storage of the document on accession, with such statements and clauses:
to Article 3:
"According to article 3 of the Convention in Ukraine the central body performing functions on receipt of addresses about free legal aid and to taking measures to them is the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine";
to Article 4:
"According to article 4 of the Convention in Ukraine accomplishment of functions of the body sending the appeal about free legal aid is assigned to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine";
to Article 7:
Ukrainian Ukrainian if they are constituted in Ukrainian or are followed by transfer into Ukrainian, and reserves the right not to accept the documents constituted or translated to English or French as it is provided by part two of article 7 of the Convention", - it is said in the message.;
to Article 16:
"According to article 16 of the Convention in Ukraine accomplishment of functions of the body sending the appeal for forced execution of resolutions on payment of court costs and expenses and also the central body performing functions on receipt of such addresses and acceptance of adequate measures concerning them is the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine";
to Article 28:
"According to part one of article 28 of the Convention Ukraine reserves the right to exclude application of article 1 of the Convention to persons who are not citizens of the Contractual State, but have the permanent residence in the Contractual State or earlier took place of permanent residence in Ukraine, in the absence of reciprocity in the relations with the state which citizens address about free legal aid.
