About mentorship
This Law determines legal and organizational basis of state policy in the field of mentorship.
1. In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:
1) the agreement on mentorship - the agreement determining conditions, terms, the rights, obligations and responsibility of subjects in the field of mentorship, signed in writing;
2) individual mentorship - the mentorship form performed by one mentor concerning person (persons) concerning whom, (which) the mentorship can be performed;
3) corporate mentorship - the mentorship form performed by the legal entity irrespective of form of business (further - the legal entity performing corporate Mentorship) concerning person (persons) concerning whom, (which) the Mentorship, for the purpose of provision of social, educational and professional support can be performed;
4) the mentor - the capable person having the citizenship of Ukraine which is constantly living in the territory of Ukraine and performing the mentorship aimed at the development of personal potential of person (persons) concerning which, (which) the mentorship can be performed;
5) mentorship - the voluntary, non-paid, regular activities aimed at the development of personal potential of person (persons) concerning which, (which) the Mentorship, taking into account his individual requirements and features can be performed;
6) the organization of mentorship - the social service provided for the purpose of ensuring professional, safe and effective implementation of mentorship;
7) superviziya of mentors - complex of the actions for rendering professional support and the help to mentors directed to overcoming difficulties which mentors meet when implementing mentorship, and also on ensuring efficiency of their activities and observance of ethical standards.
