About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About effective use of energy resources and energy efficiency"
Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Item 11 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:
In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About effective use of energy resources and energy efficiency" (The collection of legal acts of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2021, No. 8, Article 901 (volume I); 2025, No. 1, Article 10, No. 5, Article 431) to make the following changes:
1. Add Article 4-1 of the following content:
"Article 4-1. Information system of energy efficiency
4-1.1. The body (organization) determined by the relevant executive body by means of information system of energy efficiency exercises the state control in the field of effective use of energy resources and energy efficiency, keeps the register of the power accountants and the organizations which are carrying out energy audits and controls their activities, provides information and provides training, estimates energy efficiency potential, will organize certification of energy efficiency of buildings, and also keeps the list of the economic subjects and non-residential buildings which are subject to statutory energy audit, the list of service providers in the field of energy efficiency and the report on current status and development Placement of services in increase in energy efficiency is provided.
4-1.2. Except for information, access to which is limited according to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About information access", information containing in the information system specified in article 4-1.1 of this Law is public, is protected and used taking into account requirements of the laws of the Azerbaijan Republic "About information access", "About information, informatization and information security", "About the state secret", "About personal data" and "About the digital signature and the electronic document".
