About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further enhancement of procedure for use of the parcels of land

In recent years in our country consecutive measures for enhancement of procedure for use of the parcels of land, and also strengthening of environmental protection, improvement of ecological situation, mitigation of climate change are implemented.
At the same time for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the land and town-planning legislation, town-planning regulations, increase in knowledge of land users, lessees and owners of the parcels of land of procedure for use of the parcels of land there is need for refining of types of the permitted use of the parcels of land. Besides, there is need of strengthening of protection of the territories of squares, parks, avenues, boulevards for the republic and the trees planted on them, prevention of construction of buildings and constructions on their lands.
This Law brings in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan the changes and amendments providing introduction of types of the permitted use of the parcels of land, prohibition on privatization or alienation of the lands used for satisfaction of cultural and community requirements and rest of the population, reducing their territories, construction of buildings and constructions in these territories, strengthening of criminal liability for violation of these prohibitions, inclusion of botanical gardens in the list of the protected natural territories with prohibition on privatization of botanical parks and implementation of construction in their territories.
This Law will allow to provide interrelation of the land and town-planning legislation in the course of use of the parcels of land, to create the reliable legal basis for protection of the lands used for satisfaction of cultural and community requirements and rest of the population, and green zones and also will serve increase in efficiency of control of target use of the parcels of land.
