"Chapter 24. Counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome
Article 160. State policy in the field of counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome
1. State policy in the field of counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is implemented based on of this Code and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2. For the purpose of counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the national program for counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is adopted. Local executive bodies of the government, physical persons and legal entities, irrespective of patterns of ownership, and the international organizations can take part in implementation of this program.
3. The state guarantees to persons living with human immunodeficiency virus and members of their families:
- observance of all rights and freedoms according to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- receipt of information on the state guarantees, the rights and freedoms, obligations and responsibility, about services of social and psychological support and groups of mutual assistance of persons living with human immunodeficiency virus;
- support to physical persons and legal entities, irrespective of patterns of ownership, in implementation of programs for counteraction to human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome;
