About entering of amendments and changes into some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In recent years in our country large-scale work on development of the corporate relations and implementation of modern corporate management methods is carried out.
Together with it there is need of legal regulation of fiducial obligations of members of executive bodies, the supervisory boards of joint-stock companies, general obligations of majority shareholders and establishment of responsibility according to these obligations.
This Law makes additions and changes to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About joint-stock companies and protection of shareholder rights", directed to refining of fiducial obligations of members of executive bodies and the supervisory boards of joint-stock companies, general obligations of majority shareholders and their responsibility.
This Law promotes fair and reasonable action of governing bodies of joint-stock companies and majority shareholders for the benefit of society and other shareholders, and also to increase in their responsibility.
Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 26, 1996 No. 223-I "About joint-stock companies and protection of shareholder rights" (in edition of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 6, 2014 No. ZRU-370) (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2014, No. 5, Art. 128; 2015, No. 8, Art. 312, No. 12, Art. 452; 2016, No. 4, Art. 125, No. 9, Art. 276; 2018, No. 1, Art. of the Art. 1, 4, No. 4, Art. 224; 2019, No. 3, Art. 166, No. 12, Art. of the Art. 880, 886, 891; 2020, No. 1, Art. 4, No. 7, Art. 449, No. 10, Art. 593; 2021, appendix to No. 4, No. 10, Art. 973; 2022, No. 3, Art. of the Art. 216, 217; 2023, No. 1, Art. 1; 2024, No. 2, Art. of the Art. 110, 111; 2025, No. 2, Art. 188) following amendments and changes:
