Article 1. In the Code of civil procedure of the Azerbaijan Republic (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2000, No. 1, Article 17 (volume I); 2024, No. 1, Article 13, No. 4, Articles 362, 367, No. 5 (book I), article 484, No. 6 (book I), article 637, No. 12 (book I), Article 1283; 2025, No. 4 (the book I), Articles 308, of 322, No. 6, Article 526, No. 7, Article 610, No. 8, of Article 736, of 743) to introduce Article 67.3 of the following content:
"67.3. The lawyer can represent himself in court of cassation".
Article 2. In the Code of penal procedure of the Azerbaijan Republic (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2000, No. 8 (the Book II), Article 585 (volume I); 2024, No. 1, Article 4, No. 4, Articles 362, 365, 368, No. 6 (Book I), Article 631; 2025, No. 1, Article 1, No. 2, article 98, No. 4 (the Book I), Article 308, No. 6, of Article 529, of 538, No. 7, Article 607, No. 8, of Article 736, of 743) to introduce Article 92.3-1 of the following content:
"92.3-1. If the lawyer acts as the suspect or, accused of the cases provided by Articles 92.3. 6, 92.3.7, 92.3.9 - 92.3.11 of this Code he can refuse provision of the counsel for the defense and represent itself(himself) independently".
