About modification of the Regulations on appointment conditions, procedure for calculation and allowance payment on paternity approved by the Order of the Government No. 1245/2016

Based on part (3) Article 5 and article 18-1 of the Law No. 289/2004 on temporary disability benefits and other benefits of social insurance (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 168-170, 773), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Regulations on appointment conditions, procedure for calculation and allowance payment on paternity approved by the Order of the Government No. 1245/2016 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, Art. No. 405-414, 1354), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1.1. in the subitem and) Item 6-1 and the subitem and) Item 6-3 after the text of "15 calendar days" to add with the words "on each child";

1.2. state Item 10 in the following edition:

"10. If person does not answer conditions of purpose of benefit on paternity or the term of submission of missing documents expired, the National cash desk publishes the decision on refusal in purpose of benefit.

Within 10 calendar days from the date of decision making about refusal in purpose of benefit the applicant is notified in writing on cause of failure.";

1.3. in Item 12 after the text of "15 calendar days" to add with the words "for each newborn child or the adopted child";

1.4. state Item 13 in the following edition:

"13. The father of twins or more children born from one pregnancy has entitlement to benefit on paternity on each child. The father of the adopted children has entitlement to benefit on paternity on each adopted child.".

2. This resolution becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
