About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning support of scientific work in institutions of higher education
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:
1. In the Law of Ukraine "About the higher education" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 37-38, of Art. 2004 with the following changes):
Article 55 to state 1) in the following edition:
"Article 55. Positions of scientific, scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions and procedure for their substitution
1. The list of positions of scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The list of positions of scientists of institution of higher education is determined according to the Law of Ukraine "About scientific and scientific and technical activities".
2. Persons having degree of the master and/or scientific (educational and creative) degree, and/or academic status can occupy positions of scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions.
3. By the charter of institution of higher education additional requirements to persons who can hold positions of scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers can be established according to the legislation.
4. Pedagogical workers are appointed to position and leave from position the head of institution of higher education. Pedagogical workers undergo each five years certification. By results of certification compliance of workers of post is determined, qualification categories, the pedagogical ranks are given.
5. The procedure for carrying out certification of pedagogical workers is established by the central executive body in the field of science and education.
6. The list of qualification categories and pedagogical ranks of pedagogical workers is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
