About modification and amendments in the Law "About the Organization and Conducting Checks in the Republic of Armenia"

Article 1. In all text of the Law of May 17, 2000 "About the organization and conducting checks in the Republic of Armenia" (further - the Law) the words "Commission on Protection of the Competition" shall be replaced with words No. ZR-60 "The commission on protection of the competition and consumer interests" with the corresponding suffixes.
Article 2. To add article 1 of the law with part 1.1 following of content:
"1.1. Checks by the commission on the competition and protection of consumer interests are performed according to the procedure, established by this Law, taking into account features of the Law of the Republic of Armenia" about the economic competition and protection of consumer interests.".
Article 3. In Item 6 of part 3.1 of article 4 of the Law of the word of "the legislation on protection of the economic competition" shall be replaced with words "legislations on the economic competition and protection of consumer interests".
Article 4. This law becomes effective since August 1, 2025.
