About legal penalty
Based on the paragraph of the eighth No. 93 "About additional measures for ensuring stable functioning of economy" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: parts one of subitem 2.10 of Item 2 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of March 14, 2022
1. In case of initiation by persons from the foreign states making unfriendly actions * concerning the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons, early termination of credit agreements, loan agreements on the bases which are not provided by the specified agreements or the applicable law operating for date of the conclusion of such agreements, the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons who are respectively borrowers, borrowers or loan providers, creditors under such agreements requirements about payment of legal penalty can be imposed.
The legal penalty is determined in the amount of 10 percent from credit amount, loan, claimed to return in connection with early agreement cancelation.

* For the purposes of this resolution the term "persons from the foreign states making unfriendly actions" is used in the value determined in the interlinear note to the paragraph to the seventh part one of subitem 2.10 of Item 2 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of March 14, 2022 No. 93.
2. Operation of this resolution extends to the contracts signed before its entry into force which effective period did not expire (obligation fulfillment of the parties under which is not complete).
3. This resolution becomes effective after its official publication and is effective till December 31, 2026.
