About introduction of amendments to the Law on electronic identification and confidential services No. 124/2022

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on electronic identification and confidential services No. 124/2022 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2022, Art. No. 170-176, 317), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In all text of the law of the word "supervision and control" in the corresponding case to replace with the word "supervision" in the corresponding case, to replace the words "electronic means of identification" in the corresponding number and case with the word "means of electronic identification" in the corresponding number and case.

2. Add Article 2 with concepts of the following content:

after the concept "qualified electronic tag of time" to add with concept of the following content:

"conformity assessment body - the impartial legal entity accredited in the Republic of Moldova or the member state of the European Union, having competence on evaluating compliance of the skilled supplier of confidential services and the qualified confidential services provided to them;";

after the concept "skilled supplier of confidential services" to add with concept of the following content:

"the supplier of registration services - the legal entity to whom the supplier of confidential services delegated the right to conducting check of the identity of the applicant, registration and consideration of certification applications of open keys, suspension or recovery of action and withdrawal of the certificates of open keys issued by it, for the purpose of the requirement of their execution by the supplier of confidential services on behalf of the applicant;";

after the concept "qualified electronic seal" to add with concept of the following content:

"system of electronic identification - the system intended for electronic identification within which means of electronic identification are issued to the physical persons or legal entities or physical persons representing legal entities;".
