About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About recovery of the rights of persons deported on national sign" concerning recognition deported citizens of Ukraine who in 1944-1951 were compulsorily moved from the territories in which the Ukrainian population compactly lived and which at that time were part of the Polish Republic
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About recovery of the rights of persons deported on national sign" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 26, Art. 896 with the following changes) the following changes:
1. To state paragraph two of Article 1 in the following edition:
"deportation - forced relocation of the people, ethnic minorities and persons on national sign from places of their permanent residence based on the decisions made by authorities of the former USSR, federal republics, the Polish Republic including based on international treaties of the USSR/USSR with the Polish Republic during 1944-1951".
2. To state part one of Article 3 in the following edition:
"Ukraine recognizes deportations of the people, ethnic minorities and persons from places of permanent residence based on the decisions made by authorities of the former USSR, federal republics, the Polish Republic including based on international treaties of the USSR/USSR with the Polish Republic during 1944-1951 as the illegal and criminal acts made against them and are determined by recovery of the rights of citizens of Ukraine from among the deported persons one of the priority directions of political, social and economic, cultural and spiritual development of society".
3. To add part one of Article 4 with the paragraph the sixth the following content:
