Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Item 18 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:
Article 2. Make the following changes to article 39 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About conscription and military service" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2012, No. 2, Article 56 (volume I); 2024, No. 2, Article 137, No. 4, article 363, No. 12 (book II), Articles 1328, 1350; 2025, No. 1, Article 4; The Laws of the Azerbaijan Republic of February 14, 2025 No. 138-VIIGD and of March 7, 2025 No. 152-VIIGD):
2.1. In Item 5.1.5 of article 39 after the word "age" in the second case to add with words "(except for case, the stipulated in Article 39.2 presents of the Law)";
2.2. State Article 39.2 in the following edition:
"39.2. The age limit is not set for the head and the deputy manager of the general, and also for the head and the deputy manager of the body (organization) determined by relevant organ of the executive authority, and other state bodies (except for the bodies entering into structure of state bodies) appointed to position by relevant organ of the executive authority in which the military service in addition to Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic is provided. Persons which reached age limit of active duty or stay in inventory in case of dismissal from active duty are transferred to the reserve or in resignation on age".
