About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About mediation"
Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Items 10 and 12 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:
Make the following changes to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About mediation" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2019, No. 4, Article 597 (volume I); 2024, No. 1, Article 14; 2025, No. 1, Article 1):
1. In Item 1.0.8 of the word "the dispute (existing or able to arise in the future)" shall be replaced with words "the existing dispute".
2. In the first offer of Item 3.5 to add the word "based on information of Mediation council".
3. Add with Article 9.3.2-1 of the following content:
"9.3.2-1. pay expenses on mediation, except for case, the stipulated in Article 36.7 presents of the Law;".
4. Under Article 10:
4.1. State Article 10.2 in the following edition:
"10.2. The religious figures, persons recognized by court incapacitated cannot be mediators or it is limited capable which criminal record is not extinguished or is not removed, the military personnel dismissed from active duty in connection with discrepancy of post or deprivation of military rank according to the court verdict or in connection with attraction to disciplinary responsibility within the last 3 (three) years (about day of agreement signature about application of the procedure of mediation) for rough defects in the workmanship of service duties or making of the actions incompatible with service, the faces dismissed from law enforcement agencies and also persons concerning whom in disciplinary procedure powers of the judge, public service (including special types of public service), lawyer and notarial activities are stopped.";
4.2. Add with Article 10.4-1 of the following content:
"10.4-1. Persons wishing to perform mediation shall have the office consisting at least of two rooms, conforming to the requirements established by Mediation council".
