"6.1. Use of images and other forms of reproduction of cult buildings and other subjects to religious appointment, official heraldic signs, their recognizable parts containing at the time of reproduction religious symbols of the religions specified in preamble of this Federal Law without these symbols including in mass media, in information and telecommunication networks, in case of sales of goods, performance of works, rendering services and in advertizing, is not allowed, except as specified, if historical images with indication of for the corresponding period of time are reproduced provided that during the specified period the corresponding religious symbols were absent, or reproduction of religious symbols involves their defilement.".
This Federal Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
