About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In recent years in our country number of measures for further enhancement of the capital market and the insurance market, and also the sphere of electronic commerce, the organization and carrying out the lotteries and games based on risk is implemented.
At the same time the accelerated implementation of digital technologies and electronic payments to all spheres led to distribution among the population of the online games based on risk. At the same time lack of legal regulation of the games based on risk on the world information Internet, sustained interest of citizens to these games become the reason of active use of foreign and illegal services.
This Law makes changes and additions to the legal acts assigning to the National agency of perspective projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan powers on regulation of the capital market, the insurance market, the organization and carrying out the lotteries and games based on risk.
Also the Law makes changes and additions to the legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan directed to strengthening of shareholder rights regarding dividend payout, provision of the privilege to employees of joint-stock companies on share acquisition, simplifying requirements about obligation of availability of websites at joint-stock companies and procedure for disclosure of information by them.
Besides, this Law introduces requirements in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About insurance activity", the management imposed to goodwill and owners of insurance companies.
Also this Law to the Civil code of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the changes specifying procedure for holding the hazardous and based on risk other games.
This Law will serve further development of the insurance market and the capital market, regulation of procedure for the organization and carrying out the lotteries and games based on risk.
