About modification of the Civil code of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About guarantees of gender equality (men and women)"
Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Items 1 and 14 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, in connection with execution of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic of June 28, 2024 No. 1198-VIQD "About introduction of amendments to the Family code of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Criminal code of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic about administrative offenses", decides:
Article 1. Bring in the Civil code of the Azerbaijan Republic (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2000, No. 4 (the book I), Article 250 (volume I); 2024, No. 2, Article 138, No. 4, article 365, No. 5 (book I), Article 493, No. 7, Article 744; The Law of the Azerbaijan Republic of October 22, 2024 No. 57-VIQD) the following changes:
1.1. Repeal Articles 28.6 and 28.7;
1.2. To exclude the words "married and" and "another" from Article 38.7.
Article 2. "About guarantees of gender equality (men and women)" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2006, No. 11, Article 920 (volume I)) to exclude the words "and scrap" from article 3.2.3 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic.
Article 3. This Law becomes effective since July 1, 2025.
