Number of regulations concerning the fact that all citizens, having the identical rights and freedoms, are equal before the law irrespective of floor, race, nationality, language, religion, beliefs, social origin, social standing, and also equal rights of citizens in case of revenues to public service and freedoms of activities of mass media is in the new edition enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the same time there is need of reduction of the existing legal acts in compliance to regulations of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the new edition.
This Law makes changes and additions to some legal acts providing establishment of the precepts of law enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the new edition connected with activities of mass media and basic rights and human freedoms and also that the criminal record of the relative and consequence in law following from this cannot be the basis for restriction of the rights of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan in case of acceptance on the public civil service and its passing.
This Law will serve further fixing of legal guarantees of protection of citizens, providing equal opportunities in case of realization of their rights, including employment, and also to strengthening of guarantees of freedom of activities of mass media.
