About modification of article 3 of the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families"
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, of Art. 190 with the following changes) to state the subitem 1 of Item 1 of article 3 of the Law of Ukraine in the following edition:
"1) military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine formed according to the laws of Ukraine of other military forming and law enforcement agencies of special purpose, state bodies of special purpose with law-enforcement functions, Services of foreign intelligence of Ukraine, prospecting body of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, prospecting body of the central executive body realizing state policy in the field of the protection of frontier, Public service of special communication and information security of Ukraine (further - military forming, law enforcement and prospecting agencies) which are taking place military service in the territory of Ukraine, and the military personnel of the military forming stated above, law enforcement and prospecting agencies - the citizens of Ukraine fulfilling military duty outside Ukraine including in the territory of the state aggressor, during their direct participation in implementation and/or ensuring implementation of the actions necessary for ensuring defense of Ukraine, protection of safety of the population and interests of the state in connection with the armed aggression against Ukraine, and also on members of their families".
II. Final provisions
1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
2. Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:
bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;
provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
