Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About political parties" of November 13, 1998 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 1998, No. 22, Art. 300; 2015, No. 7-9, of Art. 699; 2019, No. 7, Art. 472) following amendments:
1. Add Article 15 with paragraph one of the following content:
"-financing of political parties from the government budget in the cases provided by this Law;".
2. Add with article 15 (1) the following content:
"Article 15 (1). Financing of political parties from the government budget
1. Financing of political parties is performed once following the results of participation of political parties in elections of deputies in the Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of new convocation for the purpose of financial support of political parties from the government budget according to the procedure established by this Law.
2. The funds of the government budget allocated for financing of political parties are provided according to functional classification of expenses of the republican budget in separate line.
3. The funds of the government budget allocated for financing of political parties on election results of deputies in Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of new convocation are transferred in accordance with the established procedure to the account of political party no later than three months from the date of official publication of election results.
4. Political parties are financed from the government budget only if total number of votes given for political parties makes at least 5 percent of votes of the voters who took part in vote.
