About introduction of amendments to the Law on ecological production and labeling of ecological products No. 237/2023

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on ecological production and labeling of ecological products No. 237/2023 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, Art. No. 338-340, 596) to make the following changes:

1. In Article 16:

part (to state 3) in the following edition:

"(3) the Competent authority approves the list of the products and substances permitted for use in production of the processed ecological foodstuff and yeast used as foodstuff or forages including all products and substances permitted thus in lists for limited use in quality:

a) nutritional supplements and technological excipients;

b) not ecological agricultural ingredients for production of the processed ecological foodstuff;

c) technological excipients for production of yeast and barmy products;";

Item c) parts (to state 6) in the following edition:

"c) rules of use of not ecological agricultural ingredients for production of the processed ecological foodstuff;".

2. Item b) parts (Article 22 to add 1) with words ", except as specified, specified in part (3) and Items b) and c) parts (6) Article 20.".

3. Add Article 34 with part (3) the following content:

"(3) Observance of the special conditions approved according to part (2) for import to the Republic of Moldova of ecological products and products of conversion, it is checked on boundary inspection posts or other Items of control. Frequency physical kontroly the imported products is established depending on probability of non-compliance with requirements of this law.".

4. In Article 35:

part (1) after word "restriction", to add with the word "expansion";

part (3) after word "restrictions", to add with the word "expansions".

5. In Article 37:

Item k) to state in the following edition:

"k) approves lists of the products and substances permitted for use in ecological production in the procedure established by the Government;";
