About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning settlement of calculation of insurance years of service and provision of pensions
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:
1. In the Law of Ukraine "About provision of pensions of persons discharged from military service and some other persons" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 29, Art. 399 with the following changes):
1) in Article 17:
in part one:
state the Item "z" in the following edition:
"h) military service (service) during the period till January 1, 1992 in Armed Forces, other military forming, the state security agencies and internal affairs of the former USSR - to persons living in Ukraine, according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The length of service (including on favorable terms) is in that case estimated by the legislation of the former USSR existing till January 1, 1992";
add with the Item "to" of the following content:
"j) military service (service) during the period since January 1, 1992 in Armed Forces, law-enforcement bodies, the state security agencies, police, other military forming formed according to the legislation of the states which were part of the former USSR if transfer of such periods is provided in length of service by international treaties of Ukraine which consent to be bound is provided by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The length of service (including on favorable terms) is in that case estimated by the legislation of the relevant state in the territory of which the military personnel, persons having pension entitlement according to this Law passed military service (service) if other is not provided by international treaties of Ukraine which consent to be bound is provided by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine";
