About entering of amendment into the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. Article 181 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of June 30, 2021 to add with part 8.1 following of content:
"8.1. In exceptional cases for the purpose of ensuring proper and comprehensive investigation of criminal proceedings the Attorney-General is also competent the decision to change the rules of competence of criminal proceedings provided by this Code if criminal proceedings on the actual circumstances are connected with the criminal proceedings investigated in production of other body of pretrial investigation, or criminal proceedings were initiated on signs of the expected crime provided for the subordination to other investigating body revealed during the preliminary inquiry conducted by the investigator of one body of preliminary investigation., however the actual circumstances are connected with the production which is subject to the investigator initiating production or connected to this production on the same basis".
Article 2. This law becomes effective next day after its official publication.
