About modification and amendments in some constitutional laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Article 1. Make changes and additions to the following constitutional laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1. In the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 2, 1995 "About republican referendum":
Items 4 and the 5th Article 6 to state 1) in the following edition:
"4. When holding referendum there can be citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan representing accredited public associations, non-profit organizations, and also accredited observers from foreign states and the international organizations, representatives of foreign mass media.
The procedure for accreditation, and also the right and obligation of persons specified in part one of this Item are determined according to the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Intervention in work of the commissions of referendum is not allowed.
5. Mass media light the course of preparation and holding referendum, access to the actions connected with holding referendum is guaranteed to their representatives.
Presence of representatives of mass media on the polling precincts is regulated according to the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".";
To add 2) with Article 7-1 of the following content:
"Article 7-1. Poll
The poll, connected with republican referendum, shall be held to the period of its preparation and carrying out according to the requirements established by the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".";
3) in Article 24:
exclude Item 2;
add with item 4 of the following content:
"4. Providing conditions of activities of members of the commissions of referendum regarding payment of their work during preparation and holding referendum is determined according to the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".";
