About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning settlement of single questions of activities of Fund of guaranteeing household deposits, the National Bank of Ukraine and the National commission on securities and the stock market

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. "About state regulation of the capital markets and the organized goods markets" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1996, No. 51, to Art. 292 with the following changes) to state article 12 of the Law of Ukraine in the following edition:

"Article 12. Prohibitions and restrictions for employees of the Commission

1. Employees of the Commission have no right:

1) to be representatives of the third parties in the relations with the Commission;

2) to use the official position and/or property of the Commission in political goals or private interests;

3) to be engaged in another paid (except teaching, scientific and creative activities, medical practice, instructor and judicial practice for sport, and also in other cases provided by this Law) or business activity;

4) to reveal professional secrecy in the capital markets and the organized goods markets, except the cases established by the law.

Requirements of Item 3 of this part are not applied to service personnel.

Requirements of item 4 of this part are applied also to former employees of the Commission.

2. Employees of the Commission shall observe strictly the Code of ethics of the employee of the National commission on securities and the stock market (further - the Code of ethics of the employee of the Commission) approved by the Commission as collegiate organ and to be guided by the principles, the stipulated in Article 3 presents of the Law.

3. Employees of the Commission shall prevent real and/or potential conflict of interest in case of execution of job responsibilities by them.
