About modification and amendments in the Code of civil procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. State Article 17 of the Code of civil procedure of the Republic of Armenia (further - the code) of February 9, 2018 in the following edition:
"Article 17. Publicity of legal proceedings
1. In court case is considered in proceeding in open court, except as specified, provided by the law.
2. For the purpose of protection of private life of participants of legal procedure, including trade secret, interests of minors or justice, and also state security, public order or morals, court according to the petition or on own initiative person participating in case can carry out legal proceedings or its part behind closed doors.
3. The question of carrying out legal proceedings or its part behind closed doors is solved behind closed doors.
4. The decision on carrying out legal proceedings or its part is behind closed doors taken out by court.
5. Consideration of the case in the closed judicial session is performed with observance of the rules established by this Code. In case of consideration of judicial proceedings or its part at closed meeting on judicial session have the right to be present the court session secretary, persons participating in case, their representatives, judicial managers, and if necessary also the witness, the expert, the specialist and the translator. Specified persons are warned by court by receipt of the signature about responsibility for nondisclosure of the confidential information protected by the law and its use with violation of established procedure.
6. In the closed judicial session use of means of video of sound communication is forbidden.
7. Final court resolutions of court, and in the cases provided by this Code or the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council, and other court resolutions are published through the official site of Judicial authority.
